Valentine's day is fast approaching. As much as I love decorating for every holiday, I have to say I don't always love Valentine's decor. I feel like a fair amount of Valentine's decor that you see, tends to be kitschy and not in a good way.
When it comes to Valentine's Day decor, simplicity is the best policy. I typically put a wreath on our front door, some simple but classy Valentine's pillows, a throw blanket with red in it, a few tea towels in the kitchen, and also a Valentine's candle.
I rounded up some of my current favorite Valentine's decor below for you to shop, and I also put together a fun gift guide that will hopefully make Valentine gift giving a little easier.

Maria, I completely resonate with your take on Valentine's decor often leaning towards the kitschy side. It's so easy for holiday themes to overwhelm a space, and your approach to using subtle accents like a throw or simple pillows is spot on for maintaining an elegant feel. When thinking about how these beautiful decor pieces integrate into a bedroom, the size and style of the bed itself play a huge role in the overall aesthetic. For anyone looking to ensure their bedroom foundations are just right before adding those lovely touches, understanding different bed sizes and dimensions can be incredibly helpful.
When you're shopping for a new mattress, understanding the mattress dimensions to match your comfort is key. It's not just about the name (e.g., "Queen"); it's about the actual sleeping surface area. A detailed chart showing the length and width of each standard size can help you determine if you'll have enough room to stretch out, or if a larger size is needed for you and a partner. This is especially important if you're tall or if you share your bed with pets or children. Making an informed choice leads to better sleep.
